Badhaka Graha



 For a chara rashi, the graha in its 11th house and the and lord of that house are considered as badhaka grahas, i.e., those which bring about misfortune. For sthira rashi, the graha in its 9th house and lord of that are badhakas. For ubhaya rashi, the graha in its 7th house and lord of that house are badhakas. The 22nd (180 degree from its place ) drekkana-adhipa of a rashi is considered as maha-badhaka (most harmful) for that rashi. For all rashis the lord of the house where Kulika is posited, is considered as maha-badhaka.
