Knowledge of Astrology

Everyday at home, I am used to seeing day calendar of south India, usually mom used to tear the previous day sheet, notice the Gochara chart bottom middle part, that shows everyday planetary positions.

At some point, I was exploring astronomy and bought a telescope to watch heavenly bodies, I remember seeing Skylab in the telescope, Once during lunar eclipse, I saw the calendar also was showing the lunar incident. My inquisitive raised how did the calendar manufacture know today was eclipse months back when it was printed. I came to know that its all about calculation done using Surya Siddhanta.

This inquisitive motivated me to learn about the calculation, Started with KP books that was available in English so what was interesting was the calculation of the planetary position. How did ancients know all this ? Slowly I understood the concept of ayasanam. As I was reading and understanding, I was slowly reading about planets, again same inquisitive nature comparing today knowledge of planets with what was mention in ancient books. So much of similarly how did ancient people know so much, that too thousand of miles away from earth. 

So life took turns and challenges in life came up, and all logically thoughts of how things should be working as per bookish knowledge went berserk. All took a sharp turn when for me Ragu dasa started and my roller coaster ride started, with no clue of why strange things are happening, and we have no control over it, armed by earlier study on planetary and some basic understanding, I started to find answers to my unexplained incidents in life. 

Studied Astrology in a school, got diploma in it, slowly migrated to BPHS books on ancient astrology. So I found so many issues, trust in God raised started seeing people in different views, became more composed, more adjustable, more compassionate about other problems. 

It always surprised even today how, I am able to find some details of a person, who hardly I know just by looking at the chart, like his face proportion will be smaller compared to his body, if mercury in lagana it indicates that. So there is some truth in astrology, it's a vast subject that our human mind can't simply handle the information, just like today's Doctors the knowledge of human body so much that it is impossible for a single doctor to master it all and recall when needed, so there are so many specialists in it, if this is the case of physical body, astrology is about body, mind and beyond no one can master it, except some with divine intervention.
